The application of free-of-charge and reduced fee licenses

Children and adolescents under the age of 16 are entitled to a free-of-charge yearly license for children and adolescents from 1 January to 31 December), except for catching pike in May.

Each and any individual is entitled to the free-of-charge yearly license (from 1 January to 31 December) for shoreline angling.

The following individuals are entitled to the monthly license for reduced fee:

Persons aged 16 to 65 with their registered place of residence in the Alūksne Municipality: at a price of EUR 10.00;
Persons over 65 years of age, disabled persons, persons who have been subject to political repression, and landowners on the shores of Lake Alūksne, members of their families – at a price of EUR 5.00.

During the ice melting until April 30, the movement of water vehicles in Lake Alūksne is prohibited!
